APLM Statements
From time to time and in light of significant changes or issues facing the church and the world, the APLM Council prepares and publishes Statements that reflect its values and practices. These Statements reflect the commitment of APLM to the centrality of baptism as the foundation for Christian ministry, the primacy of the Eucharist in Christian worship and parish life, the restoration of the catechumenate, the place of the distinctive diaconate in ordained ministry, the use of expansive language in worship, and the liturgy’s orientation toward care and protection of the creation. The majority of titles (e.g., The Collegeville Statement) reflect the place where the statement was created.
