Good Friday Prayer With Endangered Species Around the Puget Sound

Christ Church Tacoma has a long tradition of praying the Stations of the Cross at noon on Good Friday, with the images for each station handcrafted by our own ceramic artist, Jean Tudor. This year we added Prayers for the Endangered Species Around the Puget Sound in the church courtyard following stations.

The prayers were written by Father Samuel Torvend and shared with the entire congregation to be used at home as part of their Good Friday devotions. About a dozen people met in the courtyard with our rector, Mother Maria Gwyn McDowell, to share in the prayers. The prayers are attached and may be freely shared and edited to reflect the species at risk in your region.

May be blessings and peace of Eastertide be with you all. Christ is risen!
