In this third regional conference sponsored by APLM, participants will consider how Christian worship orients the people of God toward public engagement in a time of unparalleled political chaos and social turmoil. Join Dr Gordon Lathrop, pastor and distinguished liturgical scholar, Bishop Emeritus Richard Jaech, Tim Drewes, Rebecca Hughes, Shari Shull, Paul Tegels, and Samuel Torvend for engaging discussion of political preaching and teaching, hymn texts that form the Christian conscience, questioning the cruelty and corruption of political leaders, songs of subversion and protest, demonstrating on the parish sidewalk, and more.
